Venice in a Day
, Jul 2021
This was an amazing way for us to get our bearings in Venice on our first day. Our group was small of only 5, but Pamela did an amazing job at keeping us “entertained” and did a fantastic job communicating the history or significance of things throughout Venice. We had a great time with Pamela!
Lovely walking tour
, Jul 2021
We had a lovely tour with Pamela. She was very friendly and approachable, and gave so many interesting details about the places we visited. We had a group of 5 people in our tour which was a great size for navigating the streets, and Pamela was willing to answer all of our questions. I especially liked the waking tour and we were given food and other sight suggestions. Online it seemed like a long tour, but there was a break between the morning and afternoon tour so we were able to go back to our hotel for a nap in between.
Great tour but could be shorter

The tour guide was amazing and super knowledgeable and friendly. There is a 2.5 hour break to get lunch and I think this is too long. I wish it was shorter and the museum portion started earlier to finish earlier. Also the ride with 4 other strangers is a little awkward and a little too close and personal than I would have preferred.

Hi Jen, Thank you for your feedback on our Venice in a Day tour. Because our full-day tours are, by nature, a full day - we try to ensure that we allow ample time for rest and replenishing - so our guests can enjoy in full all of the sites we explore. Sorry to hear the timing of this tour didn't work for you but please do check our shorter tours ( they start from 2 hours) the next time you are in one of our destinations. We would love to have you again. Thank you for the 4-star review.
Very recommended

If you have only few days in Venice you should start with this tour. You will see the MUST SEE sights but also learn of the city history. The tour is long, so come with comfortable shoes and after a good breakfast.

Don't miss it

Our local guide was great. She lives in Venice and was very knowledgeable. Our tickets got us through the major attractions without waiting in line. Gondola ride was also very nice. Half an hour ride was included in the package and was well worth it.

Excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. Interacted well with the group! Was very personable.
Great walking tour with Venice Essentials!
, Jun 2021
Great walking tour of the Venice essentials! Recommend doing this on your first day to not only get the essentials complete but a good area/cultural overview! Guide was great and very knowledgeable on the history and small details! Lunch is on your own for this tour which was fine by us but we felt the recommendations were lacking. Fortunately we had a phenomenal food tour the previous day so knew what to look for (and, most importantly, what to watch out for).

The best way of seeing Venice in a day
, Jul 2020
We had only a full day in Venice and this tour was perfect for us. We were on a small group, our guide Juliano was the best, being a Venice native we got to see It thru the eyes of a local. We not only covered the main landmarks, but also understood how the locals live, were they shop and eat. The gondola ride is a must to round up your visit to Venice. All the measures to avoid COVID where observed, we felt safe and comfortable. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Private tour of Venice
, Jul 2020
Italy is taking the Coronavirus situation extremely seriously and deserves 5 stars for its approach – a strict health protocol means masks are required in all public areas and indoors, social distance is respected, prior to entering any indoor facility body temperature is being measured and hands must be disinfected. We really felt very safe and a fortnight after our holiday we are all OK and healthy. If you ever wanted to see Venice, really see the place itself without the thousands of tourists who usually overflow this beautiful city, go now and you will not regret it. You will be able to walk (not cue!) virtually alone along the narrow streets, actually ride a gondola through the empty canals (and not being stuck in a gondola cue), admire the views without having to wrestle with a few hundred tourist seeking the best spot to take photos. The by far best thing in Venice was our guide, Susan. Having a PhD in arts history she was the most amazing guide. And suddenly a picture was not just pictures any more, buildings were not just pretty buildings – it all came together in a wonderful tale of Venice's history, interpreted by Susan. We literally had Venice just for ourselves, with Susan putting all pieces of history into place. I've been to Venice four times before. This time I finally got to see it properly and got to know it. Once in a lifetime experience.
Wonderful and educational tour

Loved this tour. I had been to venice before but this was really interesting to do. The guide was fabulous and you still get plenty of free time. Well worth it!
