Ericka was our guide, and she was fantastic. Easy to understand, extremely knowledgeable, interesting to listen to, and patient! It was a large group but she was able to keep everyone following along. Wish we would’ve had more time in the colosseum but understand we needed to rush through the forum portion to get everything done before the site closed (early, for winter hours). Highly recommend!

1- driver was late on pickup time. 2-we had to stand in the rain roughly 1 hour beyond the intended start time. 3- was taken to the Palatine hill had to spend 30 minutes in the rain and in regular line( not skip the line), got through security, and then told we had to leave something was wrong with tickets. 4- guide took us to coliseum, stood in regular line again, ( not skip the line). Finally got in, did that tour, guide took us to Roman forum, rushed through that part of the tour. Ran out of time and never saw Palatine hill. Very poor experience, would like partial refund.

This was a larger group tour, but the addition of a receiver and ear phones made it easier to keep up with all the info. Our guide was not the greatest at imparting all the historic knowledge so we did get bored and drift off at times. The view of the Roman forum from above is incredible, but our ground floor guide-only access to colosseum stole the show. All in all, worth the money and I would recommend.

The meeting place is very inconvenient if you dont stay in the middle of Rome. We went right by the colosseum and 12 hour walk beyond just to be put on a bus to go back. Why dont they just meet outside the entrance? Would be a huge improvement
