Everglades and Miami Adventure from Orlando

Me Giovanni was an excellent tour guide! He was friendly, humorous and professional. The sites included with our package was perfect for us! We enjoyed the Everglades and the boat tour of Miami Bay was also fun! Very satisfied with our experience!

This was an amazing trip. We all loved it. Zooming along the Everglades with wild alligators jumping out of the water next to you was a thrilling experience. Then on to Miami and cruising around the celebrity homes followed by a walk on Miami Beach at sunset and then a stroll down Ocean Drive - unforgettable trip that you should do if you get the chance.

Because it was in the low 60's and rainy, we only saw a few alligators and just a few birds so it was disappointing to come all that way and not see more. Weather played a huge part and then going back to Miami, we had a flat tire on the bus tour and sat for 2 hrs. on the hwy. So at that, we would have enjoyed the trip more by just staying in Miami and touring and going to South Beach.

First off, our trip was nearly ruined as our pickup was grossly miscommunicated. My last confirmation was to be picked up at the All Star Music resort. When we were a minute late i called Grey Lines to say we were almost there. They said i wasnt supposed to be picked up there and my PU was 10 min ago. I told them i literally have an email stating otherwise. It was sheer dumb luck another couple happened to have a reservation for the same tour. Also, the tour says 1 hour at Bayside Marketplace. We had 2 min before the boat ride and half hour after the boat ride. Not enough time to eat unless you want really greasy vendor food for a 4 hour ride back. Also, we never got to see the Art Deco District which i was wanting to see. It said we would have an hour. We had maybe half an hour to walk to South Beach and it would be to get there take a picture and head back. The Star Cruise was great. And the Everglades was a delight. The tour guide could have had better communication. At any point we never really knew where we were going till we actually got there. Most tour guides tell jokes and info about the area. Not Darin, he only ever spoke when we got to the spot and told us what to do. Overall the value is there. I only rated this so poor becasue had it not been luck that another couple was on the same tour. We would have missed out. When i called them they didnt seemed to concerned that i was at the "wrong spot".

We were picked up a bit after our scheduled 6:30 am pickup time. There were 2 drivers as they could not drive over a certain amount of time. When we picked up our last group of people there was not room for the 2nd driver. We sat there as they tried to figure it out! Then went to meet a double decker that was trash. I had to clean off the seat of chip crumbs before I could sit down & it was falling apart--material coming lose, panels on the overhead coming lose, windows on the driver side upper deck leaking so we had to move over, & there was no microphone so the 2nd driver had to go up & down trying to relay info to all of us. We FINALLY left Orlando at a little after 8:30 (scheduled to depart at 7 am!) As a result, all of our activities were pushed back & rushed & caused us to not be dropped back off until after midnight!!! The acrobat ride on the Everglades was nice & the favorite part of the trip for my 17 year old son was holding an alligator! We then went to Bayside Marketplace where we inhaled food before our cruise, which was ok. We then loaded back up & spent an hour at South Beach before heading back to Orlando. At the rest stop we boarded yet ANOTHER bus for the remaining trip. The one saving grace was one of the drivers, Giovanni, who had a great sense of humor & made the trip better! Kudos to him!

The trip was well organized and although it was a very long day i cannot see how you could improve it really. everglades and boat ride and the aligator show was great and the gator host was very informative and passionate about his role. Giovanni our driver was great.

I booked this with the promise of hotel pickup. When I confirmed with the local operator I was told pickup was elsewhere. As a result I was not able to meet the tour and missed out. What a waste.

Went on this tour alone....visiting orlando by myself for some me time from North Carolina. This was my second time using grayline tours...1st time was a local tour of Orlando. I am always amazed at the attention to detail they have on these tours. Being alone i was nervous..hoping I didn't get lost from the group or be confused as to what to do. Our tour guide Giovanni Barile was awesome. Communicated everything very well. He made us all feel safe and he assured us that "I got you" He was brilliant. I could have sent my 14 year old alone and he would have saw tonig that she was where she needed to be and had the best experience. The day was long but its the beat way to see Miami without having to travel there by your own means. I loved it and highly recommend it. Just beware of the long day...If you are up for It, then you will enjoy this. It was a beautiful day in Miami. I will donit again.

A very long day from Orlando. Do not take children on this trip! The Everglades were fantastic and the air boat ride was very memorable. The boat trip of homes of the rich and famous was hopeless. Should be named the homes of the has beens and who cares. Guide on the boat was overpowering and the sound system was so bad you missed almost everything that was said. The whole trip narration was about touting for tips.

We were the last pickup at 650am from the big orange giftshop. The bus was on time and comfortable. First stopped in Miami to drop people off, then went to everglades which was awesome, then back to Miami where there was free time, the cruise, and south beach. Bring your swimsuit and towel!
