This was one of the best shore excursions I have been on. Eskendar was an awesome guide and Ephesus was absolutely stunning, not to mention the private carpet weaving tour and seeing the process of how silk is unraveled and spun. A private demonstration of award-winning carpets was fantastic and the private lunch was delicious. Loved every stop and every aspect of this private tour.

Our tour was amazing! Ephasus was the best part of our trip thanks to the ease of our tour guide and transportation. The Roman ruins were breathtaking and Turkey, in general, was an amazing surprise! Our guide, Deniz Taskin, was calm, polite, well-educated, friendly, and excited to share his history and culture with us.

A most excellent day thanks to Ty, our tour guide! Ty gave exceptional historical explanations, with added humor, making the tour engaging and interesting. He was also extremely accommodating as I have mobility issues and found us shady places to talk and modified the tour accordingly. We also had an excellent lunch at the end of our morning. Many thanks to Ty and the bus driver!

This private tour was by far the highlight of our trip! Orkan, our tour guide was so knowledgeable about all of the sites. He also added a lot of humor and told many stories to enrich the entire experience. He definitely made the experience what it was. Very grateful we went with him as our tour guide. 1000% would recommend.

This was the Best tour my wife and I have ever had because Selda was by far the BEST guide ever. She was knowledgeable, professional, personable, articulate and very accommodating and flexible. We highly recommend Curio tours and especially Selda as the guide for Ephesus.

Excellent tour. Our tour guide was great!!! The lunch we had at the carpet factory was awesome. If you interested in buying a Turkish rag make sure you know the size of the rug you want. The rugs are unbelievable but can be pricey but you are getting a quality rug that will last for generations. Having a private tour is the way to go. Ephesus is a must see. Viator did not disappoint.

The guide was more interested in taking us to places to sell us products like ceramic and Carpets, than guide through the places. He should be a sales man. I read more about these places though "lonely planet" than from him. We didn't have any free time to explore Ephesus. We only saw the Theatre from a distance where I had to zoom to take pictures. Tour to the Temple of Artemis was a Joke, I had literally 5 minutes to get out of the van and take a picture. The guide just wanted to rush us to the shops. When we were in the shops, we had more than enough time to do shopping, there was no rushing us. He keeps saying everything is a cooperative and everything goes back to the people who works to make it. I later understood that it was nothing like that, saying "cooperative" was a trap to loot foreigners who would assume "Cooperatives" are what it would be like in European countries.
I didn't enjoy the trip. It was a complete waste of money. It would have been better to go with another group of people, so we didn't feel along, vulnerable and trapped. We were at the mercy of wherever he took us. It is not a great feeling when you are with a little child.

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our guide Alex was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and patient. It was a long day but fun and informative.
This tour included lunch. We let our guide select the food and everything was very good!

This is an amazing tour! If you're on a cruise, this is your best bet - it's just your party, a guide and a driver. Lunch was delicious , Ephesus was unbelievable. You can take the tour at your own pace and ask as many questions as you want. A definite must if you're visiting Kusadasi/Ephesus.

We had a great guide who knew a lot. Turkey is a beautiful country. Our guide took us to a leather warehouse where we got a private
runway show of models wearing the jackets. It was amazing. The lunch we had was so quaint, outside in a little courtyard and the food
was really good. We then stopped at a rug making factory to watch the women weave those rugs. Some were as high as 35,000. The owner showed us the difference in the threading to see how they get so expensive. All handmade. It was very interesting. Nobody seemed upset when we declined to buy anything.
