Seeing all the incredible plants and hearing the many uses they had for native Hawaiians really gave me an appreciation for the native people if Hawaii.

Our tour guide was very personable and informative. Loved that it was a GUIDED tour and not a roam around at your own pace type of tour. Learned a lot about the plants, trees, and flowers there. Extra bonus was the chocolate tasting. DEFINITELY would recommend putting on bug spray before starting the guided tour and keeping it on hand for reapplication, if needed.

A Tasty trip to Princeville Botanical Gardens.

The weather was a bit unpredictable. We went to Walmart to buy rain panchos. But we were greeted by the best weather ever in Princeville. My friends and I had a wonderful time. Lots of beautiful flowers and picturesque areas. The only thing that probably needs to be told to others is that some of the climbing might be a bit tenuous for those with knee or leg problems. We were glad we brought walking sticks and that walking sticks and umbrellas were available for all. We enjoyed the chocolate and the honey tastings. That was something not found on another botanical garden in Kauai I had visited a few years ago. Both gardens are wonderful experiences. This is a must see and taste to experience!

Was very well taken care of by all the people. Very beautiful grounds! Loved the break in between for the chocolate tastings and education! Would recommend this tour. Must be able to walk, not for handicapped.

A Beautiful Day In The Garden

, Sep 2021
The tour was very well organized and our guide, Lisa was very knowledgeable. The gardens are quite beautiful and the chocolate tasting was informative. One suggestion for anyone thinking of taking the tour - wear good hiking shoes as the hike is a little strenuous, especially if there is any rain as it gets a little slippery. The gardens are quite spectacular.
