Fiat 500s were first introduced in Italy in the 1950s and quickly won the hearts of Italians for their stylish looks and affordable prices. Nowadays, vintage models are harder to come by, but you’ll have the rare chance to ride a 1960s model on your tour.

Join up with your guide in central Florence and head to the garage where your retro car will be waiting for you. A safety overview will be provided as well as a test run with car’s manual gears to ensure you’re comfortable before hitting the road.

Then, you're off! Your guide will keep in constant radio contact ahead as you follow through the city streets and up into the hills of Tuscany. Stop to see the beautiful Romanesque design of the Church of San Miniato al Monte, noted by many as the country’s most beautiful church, and soak up the surrounding views of Florence below.

Hop back in your Fiat and journey deeper into Tuscany, pausing for photos and passing through charming hillside towns. Your guide will lead the way to a private terrace, where you and your group will enjoy a traditional Tuscan meal, complete with regional specialties such as crostini and cured salami. After your stomach and taste buds have been sated, you will drive back to your original departure point in Florence.

Hands down one of the highlights of our trip. Who can say they have drove a vintage Fiat via through Tuscany. I could not recommend this tour more. My daughter and I had such a blast. The Fiat tour, a beautiful lifetime memory

My daughter and I did the Fiat tour and it was probably our most fun event of our entire trip to the Tuscany area. The gentlemen at the Fiat and Vespa garage were really passionate about their job and took great care of us. Driving the Fiat through the narrow winding roads of the Chianti region was just so exhilarating. Our group first met up in the location in front of the Biblioteca Nazionale and then driven by van to the Fiat garage. You are given a history of the Fiat 500's and a quick driving instruction and then you are off to tour the countryside with a few stops. You must be able to drive a manual transmission, but the Fiats also do not have power steering. As the driver, I did not find that part to be a problem. On the tour, the most beautiful stop being the area for our delicious meal and wine tasting. The views all over this countryside are just unbelievable. If you are in the Florence area for a visit, we definitely recommend this trip!

Great experience driving through the Tuscan hills. We were together the Vespa riders but that's not an issue. I think if your uncomfortable with the Fiat, they might allow you to swith to the Vespa or vice-versa.

The Fiat Tour was our favorite part of our entire trip! Gio led a perfect tour for us and was very helpful. We loved the drive through the countryside and were able to stop at several places to learn about Tuscany. Our lunch was phenomenal with the most amazing views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside. This is a must do experience!

Such a FUN experience! I highly recommend, but keep in mind these cars are vintage! Experience driving a manual transmission with no power steering is mandatory. We had such an amazing time l seeing the sights and driving. Our guides were very friendly and super knowledgeable. We also accidentally left our GoPro in the car and they were. Ice enough to find it and work with me to ship it back to the US. Great tour company - Five stars!

Best experience we had in Florence! Thoroughly enjoyed our tour in the little Fiat. Including a coach journey to the garage and back and some tuition, the tour lasted around 5 and a half hours. Visiting some beauty spots along the way to the destination for lunch. The staff were super friendly and passionate about the vehicles. Lunch was basic but nice and included a glass of local wine. Driving the car is challenging but rewarding, which for me was the best part of the experience. If you only usually drive auto then maybe the Vespa would be a better choice. Make sure to take some bottled water as there isn’t much chance to get refreshments for a few hours and it was 34deg C on our day, the cars obviously don’t have AC being so old! Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone as a must when visiting the city. Although there are a lot of steps to climb and a few short walks involved, also getting in and out of the car, so not suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking.

Cars are well kept and a joy to drive. Tour sites were beautiful, however the way the tour is structured is a huge disappointment. Cars drive behind scooters, which in turn means you will be driving behind the less experienced and most dangerous bike driver. For the price paid cars and scooters should have different tours.

Absolutely wonderful. Christian was an incredible Guide and showed a real passion for what he does. The car was in immaculate condition and you really get to drive it round the roads of Tuscany. My husband and I did this tour on our honeymoon and it was so much fun! Very cool to see all the classic fiats and vespas. You’re given a quick rundown of how to drive the fiat and then you’re off an a tour around Tuscany. First stop was a beautiful vineyard to take some photos and learn a little about the region. Second stop was another great viewpoint. Third stop was the highest point where you can see all of Florence from and you have the opportunity to walk through a cathedral and explore for a bit. Last stop was a gorgeous estate where we had some lunch and wine before heading back to the garage. This was a fantastic tour and definitely something different and fun to try! Chris was a great tour guide with lots of information and tons of enthusiasm about the cars. Would 100% recommend this tour.

My wife and I had a great time on the tour and driving the Fiat 500 was a blast. Chris was an awesome tour guide and really made the day enjoyable with his knowledge and enthusiasm for Florence, Tuscany, and the old Fiats. The food and wine we were served was delicious and the sights were incredible. This is probably the best tour we took while in Italy and we've taken several.
