Grandma with Grandkids Teens on Whale Watching Adventure

My grandkids came out from Kansas for Christmas and New Years. With the pandemic and lockdowns, it was hard to find things to do. This was great because it was outside and easy to social distance on the boat. We all loved watching the dolphins playing in the wake next to the boat. Also it was great to see when they jumped out of the water and made big splashes. Thanks for a great adventure.

My 3 grandkids came out from Kansas to spend Christmas and New Years. It was a difficult year finding things to do during the lockdown and the Covid-19 pandemic. That is why this whale/dolphin adventure was so great. This was outside and there was plenty of separation between the patrons on this boat. My grandkids and I loved the dolphins and how they would come close to the boat and swim in the wake. We also loved seeing them be so playful and jump out of the water. Great adventure on the ocean for us all. Thank you.

The hosts and boat was super nice. We chased a whale so there wasn’t dolphin sightings. On our way back we did see a small pod but they sped past since we were cutting it close to time. That was a HUGE bummer because the kids really wanted to see dolphins. May come back if we come to CA again so they can hopefully get more than 1 whale sighting in 2 hours.

We didn’t see any whales but saw dolphins and some seals. The ride was still amazing while enjoying a snack and a drink! Wonderful crew as well!

Didn’t see a whale saw just a handful of dolphins! Crew Barley said anything and didn’t interact with the guests nearly at all! Wanted my money back but wouldn’t give it to me! Do not go here! There are many better places to go!

The crew is fantastic! The only issue we had is that the company advertises as a whlae watching tour, yet immediately aboard, the crew advised us that the distance the boat travels would not allow us to see whales. So why advertise for whales? Why not just call it a marine adventure tour? I think 3-5 miles out is not far enough and 2 hours is pretty short. But other than that, amazing day on the water and extremely passionate and educated captain!

At check in the lady was very rude she received a phone call ignored me while I was standing at the window for about five minutes finally she just reach her hand out to take the waiver that I signed. She then clip the ticket to it and just hand it back to me without looking at me or explaining anything to me. The boat was very nice.
