Buyer Beware
Jason_S
, Nov 2020
You spend more time waiting on other guests to arrive, shuffling between activities, and wondering why no is communicating anything. The ATV drive was 10 minutes up and back a muddy road (mud was expected, but only 10 minutes of ATV driving), the zip lines took only 10 minutes (it’s three zip lines and two ropes course walks, not 5 zip lines). The “lunch” was two street tacos with hardly and substance. All in was 5 hours and most of the time was spent waiting for other guests to arrive (one hour) and shuffling between activities rather than actually doing said activity. The lunch was so light we had to eat again as soon as we got back to the hotel. Not worth it to me.

Get what you pay for
Andreina_S

I would have given it less stars but in reality, you get what you pay for. It was pretty cheap. I think $110 for my husband and I. Note: you are not allowed to take your phone on the Zipline or on the ATV. You have to pay $10 for a locker- you don’t have the option to say no. In the end you will get $5 back. The waters they give for free are tiny and you can only get one per person. Tip: Bring your own water!!! Cenote: We went to the cenote first. This was my favorite part of the day. They had a fun zip line and two diving places where you could dive into the cenote. Life jackets were available for you- complimentary. Zipline: there were about 4 Ziplines. They were pretty small, and you didn’t go very high or fast. Not very great. ATV: at first they were saying we had to wear close toed shoes, but I was able to wear my sandals. My Husband and I brought our phone onto the ATVs and so did another couple. I think the tour guide, Mary, that was leading us got angry and kept on yelling at us to hurry up even when we weren’t taking pictures or on our phones. The ATV tour was very short. We were not on ATVs for very long. And the road that we took was very very bumpy. There was a woman who fell off of it and had to be taken back. I’d be careful with this one! Lunch: two very small plain tacos. Not good at all! Photos: THIS WAS THE WORST!!!!! We were approached my the photographer and asked if we wanted to buy pictures and we said no. He was persistent and tried convincing us- we kept saying no. He finally left. Then another man comes, pulls up a chair and sits with us. He keeps asking us to buy pictures, they were $70.... umm no thanks! He was almost to the point of telling us that we had to buy them. Literally harassing us! We finally stood up and walked to the shuttle. Not a great experience overall!

Wouldn't recommend

The guide was extremely nice and professional. This is why I gave any stars at all. The experience was not the best in my opinion. The ATV ride was very short. It was just my cousin and I but, we had to keep waiting around for the other 10 people in our group. The course was short and ppl were literally flipping over and were told they may be charged for damages. They need to make the course smoother. We then went to green star cenote. They didn't have a shower for us to get to the mud off. The water was disgusting. It did have a nice zip line into the water. Watch out for the ants. They bite. We then went back to do the zip lining and it was also very short. It was 3 or 4 zip lines and they didn't go up high. At the end they said they were charging i think 60 or 70 bucks for the picture package but, but told us they had a discount of 25 per photo. That is extreme. They told us not to tell anybody about the discount cause it was just for us but, others were asking if we got the discount too.. Finally, at the end they gave us 2 fish tacos. They were very dry. The gift shop was nice.

Overall it was ok. The ATV tour was around the same area 2 or 3x. Very rocky. Lunch was good. Cenote was small.

Great day trip!

This was a great excursion. It was my first time ziplining and doing ATVs and I had a blast!!! Henry and the team explained everything, and were very safe with all the activities. They were willing to help in anyway, and were quick to do so. Very friendly set of people, and Nicole was VERY responsive to messaging. Just know there are ALOT of bugs in the area, and the ATV trail is very muddy. I would suggest wearing water shoes, and bringing your own bug repellent as the cream they have is not very good. Also, it seems like they hold you hostage before giving you the lunch, and even then its only two small tacos. While grateful, didnt seem we needed a whole tour after excursions just to get them.

OK activity for a weekend getaway

It was a decent experience. The coordination of activities between the atv, zipline and swim was not stellar...lots of time spent trying to figure out where our group would go next. There are tons of bugs so BRING REPELLENT and long socks for the ATV..you are riding over horse trails...Overall pretty fun outing

Not bad, it’s worth a shot

Would recommend. Everyone was really nice and the tour is very organized. Obviously you’ll get dirty and muddy so bring water shoes or purchase theirs for $25USD. Only negative is my atv shut off twice, you’re barely at the cenote for long, and the zipling is short, slow process, and not that high up. Also the food is trash. Would still recommend them.
